Farmers from Mordovia are taking part in the Golden Autumn exhibition in Moscow
From October 7 to 10, the 28th Russian Agro‑Industrial Exhibition “Golden Autumn — 2026” is being held at the Timiryazev Center educational and exhibition complex. This year, the exhibition is dedicated to technologies for effective growth of the agro‑industrial complex, and the core of the exposition features three scientific and technological projects of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia: the agrotechnological, livestock, and biotechnological projects.
Each region has brought to Moscow its best products from the agro‑industrial complex. The Republic of Mordovia’s exposition is one of the largest and showcases products from both major manufacturers and farmers.
A special place in the extensive range of food products is occupied by organic products for children’s nutrition — the republic remains a leader in this area.
Mordovia is represented at the exhibition by the region’s leading enterprises: Ichalkovsky Cheese Plant, Sarmich Cheese Factory, Oktyabrskaya Agrofirm, Talina Group, Saransk Canning Plant, Saransk Distillery, Biosfera, Children’s Food Station, Norov Group, ROST, Atemarskaya Poultry Farm, and TKM.
For the second year in a row, a Soviet Heavy Draft stallion named Reichard is coming to the exhibition from Mordovia. At last year’s exhibition, he won a gold medal. Over the past year, Reichard has gained weight and further improved his conformation. “We have no doubt that Reichard will repeat his success this year,” said Danil Bezzubov, chief livestock technician for horse breeding, who has been looking after the stallion since his birth.
The exhibition’s business program includes more than 60 events. A plenary session titled “Navigator of the Russian Agro‑Industrial Complex: Technologies for Effective Growth” was held at the Timiryazev Center, with the participation of the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Oksana Lut. Round tables on livestock breeding, selection, digitalization, and exports will be held there, and awards will be presented at a ceremony to the winners of the “Women in the Agro‑Industrial Complex” project.
A farmers’ market will be set up for guests of the large‑scale event, and a gastronomic festival will take place.
