FIBER OPTICS AND OPTOELECTRONICS INTERREGIONAL CLUSTER HAS BEEN INCLUDED IN THE REGISTER OF THE MINISTRY OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE OF RUSSIA
Fiber Optics and Optoelectronics Interregional Cluster has been included in the register of industrial clusters by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. The cluster has confirmed its compliance with federal requirements.
The cluster includes 18 enterprises from the Republic of Mordovia and Perm Krai, which are jointly working on projects related to the production of optical fibers for long-distance communication lines, peroxide-cured insulation compounds for high-voltage cables, and components for lighting products. All these types of products are included in the import substitution plans for the chemical and radio-electronic industries by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
Under the preferential regime, participants in industrial clusters can avail themselves of the following government support:
- Subsidies for the purchase of initial batches of components (up to 150 million RUB, covering up to 50% of costs);
- Insurance premium benefits for cluster participants implementing SPIC 1.0 (Special Investment Contract 1.0);
- Preferential loans within the framework of the cluster investment platform, among other forms of support.
