FOR THE FIRST TIME IN RUSSIA, THE COMPETITION «WOMEN IN THE AGRO-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX» WILL BE HELD
For the first time the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia will hold a competition «Women in the Agro-industrial Complex». Its goal is to show inspiring examples of women's leadership in all sectors of the agro-industrial and fisheries complexes, as well as to popularize the rural lifestyle.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the competition will identify the most enterprising and successful women and demonstrate their contribution to improving life in the countryside.
Winners will be selected in four categories. «Who if not me?» will determine the best social initiatives and projects in the countryside. «Outstanding Star» will determine the best start-ups in the agro-industrial complex. The heads of agricultural enterprises that have influenced the development of the organization will be selected in the nomination «Superwoman». For rural women with a strong active life position, a special nomination «There are women in Russian villages» is provided.
Applications will be accepted until July 15 next year. The results of the competition are planned to be summed up in October 2023, on the eve of the International Day of Rural Women.
