GROUP OF COMPANIES «TALINA» ENTERED THE TOP 10 LARGEST DOMESTIC PORK PRODUCERS
The National Union of Pig Breeders has published theresults of the annual rating of the largest pork producers in Russia. According to the results of last year, the Group of Companies «Talina» took the tenth place again. The agricultural holding produced 156.7 thousand tons of pork for slaughter (in live weight).
The Group of Companies includes 11 pig complexes with a total livestock of more than 710 thousand animals. They are located in the Republic of Mordovia and the Ulyanovsk region. Every year LLC «Mordovian Breeding Center» confirms the status of a breeding plant for breeding Yorkshire, Landrace and Duroc pigs. In this way, «Talina» solves the problem of import substitution in the field of pedigree pig breeding and provides the population with high-quality and inexpensive meat.
