Head of Mordovia held a meeting with a regional investment group
On March 28, the Head of Mordovia, Artyom Zdunov, held a meeting with a regional investment group on the implementation of a regional investment standard. It was developed by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation on behalf of the President and is aimed at reducing administrative barriers to business. The Head of Mordovia stressed: "One of the most important priorities of investment policy in the republic is building transparent relations and channels of direct communication with investors.
We note that in recent years, each stage of interaction has become more understandable for the investor. Large investors who had never even looked at the republic before came to us. The geography is expanding, and we will continue this policy."
Mordovia is included in 12 pilot regions for the implementation of the regional investment standard and has successfully confirmed its implementation in 2022 and 2023.
"The most important thing for us is to ensure an increase in investments," said Artyom Zdunov. - Because this is our GRP, our economy. By the end of 2023, we have received the maximum increase in investments since 2012. Therefore, we will continue to improve all processes and reduce administrative barriers. We are on the right track! But we must remember that other regions are awake, and the competition is huge."
Ivan Gorin, Minister of Economy, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Moldova, reported on the instruments of the regional investment standard. The main task is to shorten the investor's path from the emergence of an idea to the implementation of investments.
