IN 2024, #GIVINGTUESDAY WILL TAKE PLACE ON DECEMBER 3
Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Mordovia can join the #GivingTuesday campaign, a global day of charity aimed at raising public awareness and encouraging more people to get involved in charitable activities. This year, it will be held on December 3. Events under the #GivingTuesday initiative are recommended to take place between November 25 and December 10, 2024.
#GivingTuesday has been held in Russia since 2016 with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. During this time, nearly 4,500 organizations from 260 towns and cities across the country have joined the initiative. As a result of the collective efforts of participants, donations to charitable organizations during the campaign days increase, on average, by 2.7 times. The project is coordinated in Russia by the Culture of Charity Charitable Foundation, which is focused on the development of philanthropy and supporting non-profit organizations (NPOs) in Russia.
