In Mordovia, 244 SMEs are engaged in research and development
Since the beginning of 2026, small and medium‑sized enterprises in the science sector have attracted over 2 billion rubles in state support under the National Guarantee System — this is twice as much as in the same period last year.
As of 1 June 2026, 244 SMEs have been registered in Mordovia for which research and development is the main activity. The average age of such companies is 6 years and 8 months.
Across Russia as a whole, 24,300 SMEs operate in this sector. More than 103,500 other enterprises use science as an additional area of activity.
