INVENTIONS FROM MORDOVIA WERE PRESENTED AT THE INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION EXPO-2020 IN DUBAI
The All-Russian Society of Inventors and Innovators, together with the Federal Institute of Industrial Property, presented innovative start-upsin the Russian Pavilion at the World Universal Exhibition EXPO - 2020 in Dubai (UAE). Two inventions from Mordovia were presented in a unique exposition.
«Strain of the bacterium Komagataeibacter hansenii – producer of bacterial cellulose» is an invention of team of the Mordovia State University`s scientists under the guidance of Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Viktor Revin. The invention relates to the field of biotechnology and can be used in medicine as a biomaterial for tissue engineering, for creating wound dressings and transdermal therapeutic systems, in the food industry, in engineering, for obtaining nanocrystalline cellulose and biocomposite materials for the aerospace and aviation industries.
An invention by Oleg Liyaskin (National Research Mordovia State University) was also presented at the exhibition. «Transport thermal container with vacuum insulating panels» is intended for the transportation of sensitive objects that require maintaining certain temperature conditions throughout the entire delivery period.
Members of the All-Russian Society of Inventors and Innovators discussed possible options for cooperation with foreign colleagues.
