KazanForum: Mordovia Strengthens Ties with Strategic Partners
On May 15, on the sidelines of the International Economic Forum Russia — Islamic World: KazanForum, Artem Zdunov, Head of Mordovia, held a series of business meetings with the republic’s industrial partners to expand cooperation chains.
The Republic of Mordovia and KAMAZ PJSC have been cooperating quite closely in building cooperation chains. In 2025, the volume of supplies of products from Mordovian manufacturers to KAMAZ enterprises more than doubled compared to 2024.
Extensive work with the company is underway in the field of creative industries. Through joint efforts, a multiplayer online game dedicated to truck rally racing, Commanders of the Off‑Road, has been created.
KAMAZ vehicles are actively used in the capital city’s municipal services: at the end of last year alone, 10 NEFAZ buses were purchased for the municipal enterprise’s vehicle fleet.
During the meeting with Sergey Kogogin, General Director of KAMAZ, the industrial potential of Mordovia was presented by a number of regional enterprises, including PromMetIzdeliya Plant (trademark Verstakoff) and the Lodygin Research Institute of Electrical Engineering (NIIIS).
“It is fundamentally important for us to build a direct and constructive dialogue with one of the country’s leading machine‑building enterprises, our strategic partner,” noted Artem Zdunov. “We will continue to expand cooperation and implement joint projects.”
Artem Zdunov also discussed cooperation prospects with Innopolis Special Economic Zone (SEZ) with its General Director Renat Khalimov. The discussion focused on jointly addressing challenges to improve the reliability of technological processes, as well as on developing Mordovia’s special economic zone and enhancing the investment appeal of the site.
