KazanForum: Mordovian enterprises will develop cooperation with Kazan Helicopters
On May 14, a Mordovian delegation led by Artem Zdunov met with the management of Kazan Helicopters JSC on the sidelines of the Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum International Economic Forum.
The head of Mordovia noted the importance of developing direct cooperation with leading enterprises in the domestic aviation industry and strengthening cooperative ties. Kazan Helicopters, a subsidiary of Russian Helicopters and part of Rostec State Corporation, is a flagship enterprise in the Russian mechanical engineering and aviation industry, boasting a rich history and high production standards.
The regional leader presented Mordovian enterprises with modern competencies and ready to offer solutions needed for the modernization and development of Kazan Helicopters' production capacity.
In particular, PromMetIzdeliy Plant LLC presented its core product line, including automated storage systems, industrial metal furniture, and comprehensive solutions for equipping production and warehouse facilities. The proposed solutions not only modernize workspaces but also implement modern lean manufacturing principles, improve material storage efficiency, occupational safety, and enhance the overall quality of production processes.
The A.N. Lodygin Scientific Research Institute of Information Systems (NIIIS) already has positive experience collaborating with Russian Helicopters holding companies, including supplying products directly to the Kazan Helicopter Plant. The company has significant expertise in the production of specialized lighting products.
"For the Republic of Mordovia, developing industrial cooperation with aviation industry companies is a key area," noted Artem Zdunov. "Our companies are ready not only to supply high-quality products but also to collaborate on developing new solutions that meet the industry's modern requirements. I am confident that today's meeting will be an important step toward expanding the partnership between the Republic of Mordovia, Kazan Helicopters JSC, and Russian Helicopters. It will help identify specific areas of collaboration and lay the foundation for long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation."
