MORDOVCEMENT CONTINUES TO IMPLEMENT MODERN TECHNOLOGIES IN ITS PRODUCTION PROCESSES
Mordovcement continues to integrate modern technologies into its production processes. Another step in the cement giant's phased digitization is the automation of dispatch management, known as “AWDS”. This will increase the speed of the enterprise's operations in terms of transporting finished products and improve interaction with customers. Additionally, the innovation will reduce the likelihood of abnormal and emergency situations due to human factors during the cement loading process.
The Automatic Weight Determination System (AWDS) includes extensive functionality: it manages an automatic electronic queue and records issued electronic passes, identifies vehicles and applications. Automatic control of barriers, providing control and commercial weighing of vehicles, recording loading times, and much more are also part of the capabilities of the new system.
The primary current tasks assigned to the “AWDS” system are to increase the efficiency of cement dispatch to both road and rail transport.
“AWDS” has been put into operation on the “dry” cement production line, where the passage of vehicles through checkpoint No. 4 is automated, and the weighing results are directly transmitted to the information system.
