Mordovia and «Napitki Vmeste» will create a high-tech technological platform for the development of an agro-industrial cluster in the region

On October 10, the Head of Mordovia, Artyom Zdunov, held a working meeting with the General Director of «Napitki Vmeste» (AB InBev Efes) Nikolai Tyurnikov. During the meeting, the parties discussed the results of the Saransk malt and brewing production of the company, as well as outlined new areas of cooperation.

The meeting resulted in the signing of a trilateral partnership agreement between the republic, the company and Ogarev Mordovian State University. It provides for the creation of a new technological platform on the basis of the university, the opening of an innovative agricultural class "malting", equipped with a mini-malt house.

The strategic document establishes «Napitki Vmeste» status as an industrial partner of the university and opens up opportunities for cooperation in the fields of science, education and real production aimed at ensuring raw material sovereignty, training and innovation.

It should be noted that the cooperation of the parties contributes to the achievement of the National Development Goals of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030 and for the future up to 2036, as well as to the implementation of the Strategy of Socio-Economic Development of the Republic of Mordovia up to 2035.

Over the next three years, the parties will work together in several strategic areas. A scientific and educational project focused on import substitution in the field of malt and beverage production will be implemented at the Mordovian State University. It is planned to conduct comprehensive scientific research and implement their results at the company's production facilities. Conditions will also be created for the involvement of students in project and research activities with their subsequent employment at the company's enterprises. Special attention is paid to the development of the existing cluster in Mordovia for the cultivation of malting barley, malt production and industrial processing.
