Mordovia boosts interregional cooperation at the economic forum in Kazan
The industrial and economic potential of Mordovia was presented to a range of Russian enterprises at the international economic forum in Kazan.
The development of interregional cooperation was discussed by Artem Zdunov, Head of Mordovia, and Gulshat Zagidullina, General Director of Tatlift. For Mordovia, the modernisation of urban and social infrastructure is of strategic importance. Systematic collaboration with domestic partners plays a priority role in addressing this challenge. Tatlift is one of the prominent Russian companies in the production, installation, and maintenance of elevator equipment.
Ammoniy JSC is a leading enterprise in the Russian chemical industry and the largest manufacturer of mineral fertilisers. The plant in Mendeleyevsk features a modern, high‑tech production facility. During the meeting with the company’s General Director, Dmitry Makarov, the parties discussed opportunities for industrial cooperation and expanding collaboration with Mordovian enterprises. It was noted that the republic has a number of production sites and competencies that are important for supply chains.
With Nail Maganov, General Director of Tatneft PJSC, the participants reviewed technological and production solutions developed by Mordovian industrial enterprises for practical implementation by Tatneft, as well as the implementation of joint projects.
“Mordovia is a region with a well‑developed machine‑building, instrument‑making industry and a strong scientific school,” emphasised Artem Zdunov. “We are interested in reliable technological partnership — not just long‑term industrial cooperation, but also in jointly refining solutions to meet import substitution goals.”
