Mordovia climbs 13 spots in regional rankings for PPP development
Based on the results of 2025, the Republic of Mordovia significantly improved its position in the annual ranking of Russian regions by public-private partnership (PPP) development, moving up 13 spots to 37th place.
The ranking was prepared by the Russian Ministry of Economic Development based on three indicators: the dynamics of PPP project implementation in the reporting year, the accumulated experience of implementing such projects in previous years, and the effectiveness of regional governments and their level of involvement in PPP projects.
"Our ranking position improved thanks to the successful implementation of PPP projects," explained Tatyana Afonina, consultant at the Republic of Mordovia Development Corporation. "The region has seen an increase in the number of new initiatives, and existing projects have successfully moved into the practical stage. These changes demonstrate the development of an effective strategy for government-business interaction, which opens up additional prospects for the further socioeconomic development of the Republic of Mordovia."
