MORDOVIA DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION EXCHANGED EXPERIENCE WITH COLLEAGUES FROM THE PENZA REGION
On July 11, a delegation from the Penza region visited the Republic of Mordovia on a business trip. The delegation included representatives from the regional Ministry of Economic Development and Industry, the Development Corporation, the Urban Planning and Architecture Department, and business representatives.
The Investment Development Department of the Mordovia Development Corporation organized an extensive program for the guests from the neighboring region. In addition to official meetings, the program included a tour of the Sistema Special Economic Zone – the Svetotekhnika industrial park, a visit to Zavod Svetovyh Priborov LLC, TechnoPark-Mordovia and the Lisma History of Lighting Museum.
During the visit, Kamill Arslanbekov, the General Director of the Mordovia Development Corporation, briefed the guests on the region's investment potential, existing preferential regimes, and the corporation's key areas of activity. He also emphasized that the organization is ready to collaborate for the benefit of regional investment development.
During the event, Pavel Rykov, General Director of the Management Company of the Sistema Special Economic Zone, shared his experience in creating the economic zone with representatives from the Penza region. The discussion also covered the industrial potential of Mordovia. Evgeny Kondratiev, First Deputy Minister of Industry, Science, and New Technologies of Mordovia, provided a detailed account to the assembled audience.
As a result of the business visit, a preliminary agreement was reached to organize a business mission to the Penza region in the near future.
