MORDOVIA DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION IS OVERSEEING AN INVESTMENT PROJECT IN THE FIELD OF MUNICIPAL SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT
Mordovia Development Corporation is overseeing an investment project for the establishment and operation of municipal solid waste (MSW) management facilities in the region. This project is being implemented under a concession agreement between the Republic of Mordovia and Mordovian Environmental Operator.
Currently, the construction of a waste sorting facility is actively underway, marking an important step toward improving the environmental situation. The facility will employ modern semi-automated technology for sorting municipal solid waste, enabling the processing of up to 180,000 tons of waste annually.
Additionally, the project includes an integrated RDF fuel production line and a composting unit for the organic fraction of MSW. This will not only reduce the volume of waste but also convert it into a valuable resource.
The total investment in this project amounts to 2.4 billion rubles, which is a significant contribution to the future of our republic.
