MORDOVIA ENTERED THE TOP-6 REGIONS WITH THE HIGHEST QUALITY INDEX OF INNOVATION POLICY
Mordovia is among the six regions with the highest quality index of innovation policy. This is one of the indicators of the rating of innovative development of Russian regions, which is annually formed by the Higher School of Economics. It is calculated on 13 different indicators, which are divided into 4 main groups. Experts analyze the regulatory framework and organizational support, calculate how much money is allocated from the budget for science and innovation. It also takes into account how actively the region participates in the federal scientific, technical and innovation policy - this is one of the most significant factors.
– Growth was achieved thanks to the cooperation of the government and the entire scientific and industrial block of the region. According to the results of last year, Mordovia became the leader in the country in terms of the share of innovative products in the shipped goods of innovative production. In industry, this share has already reached a third. The republic also actively cooperates with federal institutions, said – Igor Gubaidullin, the Minister of Industry, Science and New Technologies of the Republic of Mordovia.
It was noted that technology and innovation support centers have begun to develop in Mordovia.Intensives are also held with young scientists and students. The National Research Mordovian State University named after N.P. Ogarev is a reliable partner in the development of innovations. Participation in state programs and collaboration with other regions and the federal center also contributes to the development of innovations.
