MORDOVIA HAS ENTERED THE TOP 5 IN THE RATING OF ORGANIC REGIONS IN RUSSIA
Roskachestvo has presented an updated rating of Russian regions based on the number of certified organic producers, with Mordovia ranking 4th. There are seven manufacturers operating in the region.
As of the beginning of 2024, according to Roskachestvo, the leadership is still held by the Voronezh Oblast, with 14 certified organic producers. Krasnodar Krai and Moscow Oblast share the second place with 13 certified producers each. The top three also include the Novosibirsk, Yaroslavl, and Kaluga Oblasts, each with 8 certified producers.
Following closely are the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Yugra, the Republic of Mordovia, the Republic of Tatarstan, each with 7 certified producers, and Altai Krai with 6 producers. This year, the Republic of Adygea made a leap, with 4 new certified producers added in 2023.
