Mordovia has harvested 1 million tons of grain
The grain and leguminous crops harvest has been completed on 287,000 hectares, which accounts for 64 % of the total area. With a yield of 34.8 centners per hectare of sown area, more than 1 million tons of grain have been harvested.
The Atyashevsky District made the largest contribution to this achievement, with 106,822 tons of grain collected from its fields. The Lyambirsky District ranks second in terms of total harvest volume (89,109 tons), and the Kovylkinsky District ranks third (88,600 tons).
In terms of yield, the Dubensky District holds the top position with 43.6 centners of grain per hectare. The Lyambirsky District is in second place (41 centners/ha), and the Chamzinsky District is in third place (40.3 centners/ha). In 18 districts, the yield ranges from 30.8 to 38.7 centners of grain per hectare of sown area.
