Mordovia Improves Its Position in the National Investment Climate Ranking
Mordovia confirmed its status as one of the most comfortable regions for doing business, entering the top 10 of the National Investment Climate Ranking. The results of the annual study were announced at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
According to the final assessment, the region ranked eighth, sharing the same position with the Smolensk Region. As a reminder, a year earlier, Mordovia ranked ninth.
In this study, Russian regions were assessed on 127 indicators across eight key areas. These included real estate, utility networks, business protection, business support measures, export activities, infrastructure and technology, human resources, and market development and competition.
"Mordovia's presence in the top ten rankings is not a random success, but a logical result of the daily and consistent work of the region's investment team," commented Fatima Gatieva, Deputy General Director of the Republic of Mordovia Development Corporation.
