Mordovia Increases Exports

As part of the national project "International Cooperation and Export," Mordovia is actively supporting companies seeking to expand their presence in foreign markets. The Export Support Center of the Republic of Mordovia plays a key role in this process, helping companies find new partners and conclude lucrative contracts worldwide.

In 2025, with the Center's support, industrial enterprises in the region participated in a series of significant international events. These events spanned both Russia and international markets, including Prodexpo 2025 (Moscow), Russia Halal Expo (Kazan), Food2China (Guangzhou, China), and PowerExpo Almaty 2025 (Almaty, Kazakhstan).

Furthermore, an international business mission was organized to the Republic of Belarus and a reverse business mission from Kazakhstan. Participation in such formats allows not only to showcase products but also to establish direct business connections and explore demand and operational specifics in new markets.

The effectiveness of the work accomplished is confirmed by impressive figures. As a result of the events, 10 enterprises in the republic signed export contracts totaling $4.9 million. 255 small and medium-sized businesses used the services of the Export Support Center.

These figures demonstrate the growing interest of Mordovian producers in foreign economic activity and the demand for government support.

Particular attention is being paid to export diversification. In 2025, a significant increase in exports from Mordovia to a number of countries is expected: Mongolia (5-fold), Armenia (2.2-fold), Georgia (1.7-fold), China (1.6-fold), Uzbekistan (1.5-fold), Azerbaijan (1.3-fold), Kazakhstan and Belarus (1.2-fold), and Turkey (1.1-fold).

This dynamic demonstrates the high quality of Mordovian products and their competitiveness in the global market. The work of the Export Support Center of the Republic of Mordovia is proving its effectiveness, opening new horizons for development and economic growth for local companies.
