Mordovia is among the leading regions in terms of the number of initiatives proposed for the “Strong Ideas for a New Age” forum

On July 3, the plenary session of the V Forum "Strong Ideas for a New Age" was held at the National Center "Russia". It has been conducted by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives on behalf of the President of Russia since 2020. Its goal is to select and implement strong ideas that will make a significant contribution to the development of the country. This year, the forum has received more than 35,000 ideas, initiatives and projects in five areas – social, entrepreneurial, human resources, technological, environmental and climate national initiatives. The forum's plenary session was attended by the Head of Mordovia, Artyom Zdunov.

Svetlana Chupsheva, Director General of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, noted that the total number of ideas received this year is two and a half times higher than the number presented at the first forum "Strong Ideas for a New Age." She also named the leading regions in terms of the number of applications. The Republic of Mordovia has also entered the top 5 regions - 1957 initiatives have been received from our republic.

Welcoming the forum participants, Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized the uniqueness of this mechanism in the development of individual industries, production, economy, and therefore the whole of Russia: "This mechanism is built on the energy of society, a very large number of people. Many of our citizens can show their creative business initiative, present their teams and the results of their work, compete in a fair and open competition to promote what these teams and these people have managed to do, and confirm their competitiveness, not only in the Russian market, but also with access to international markets."

Every year, a thousand of the best ideas selected by the expert council receive concrete support. And one hundred of the most significant initiatives are sent to the Government, ministries and departments, and to the regions of the country for use in formulating system solutions. Vladimir Putin stressed the importance of promoting ideas in such areas as technological development, the development of creative industries, tourism, urban and settlement improvements, the development of new brands, high technologies, and personnel policy issues.

The President paid special attention to the issue and initiatives related to the preservation of traditional values, support for families, motherhood and childhood.

"The main purpose of creating scientific and engineering achievements, of course, all special environmental initiatives, is, first of all, improving the quality of life of citizens. And first of all, families with children. This is an extremely important area, especially given the demographic challenges, and it is doubly and trebly important. Only you and your creative streak will be able to make a good large traditional family a fashionable trend in Russia's development, I really want to ask you about this," the head of state said.

This work is already actively underway within the framework of the State Council's “Family“ Commission, which, on behalf of Vladimir Putin, is headed by the Head of Mordovia, Artyom Zdunov.

Before the start of the plenary session, the head of state and the ASI CEO visited the exhibition of participants of the growing Russian brands competition "Znai Nashih". One of the stands that interested the President was the stand of the company INCRUA from Mordovia, which produces handmade interior items. The Mordovian Christmas tree toy has already become a regional brand with geographical indication.

During the plenary session, the President noted: "Now at the exhibition, the guys told me about family business and family endeavors. We will support this in every possible way."

"A strong, healthy family is the pride and stronghold of Mordovia and the whole country - this is the firm position of our President and the entire Russian society," Artyom Zdunov commented on the last plenary session of the forum. - Thank you to everyone who is moving Mordovia and Russia forward. ASI, we are working together!"
