Mordovia presented its industrial potential at the exhibition in Tashkent
Leading industrial enterprises of Mordovia successfully represented the region at a collective stand within the framework of the international exhibition "Innoprom. Central Asia". The event was held in the capital of Uzbekistan from April 28 to 30. Organizational support for the exposition, which clearly demonstrated the innovative and production capabilities of the republic, was provided by Mordovia Development Corporation.
Eight enterprises were presented at the Mordovia stand. The products of the region's companies aroused great interest among foreign partners. Business negotiations were held within the framework of the exhibition: issues of strengthening cooperation were discussed, as well as the search for new sales markets and the development of export directions.
Deputy General Director of Mordovia Development Corporation Svetlana Antonova noted the importance of the republic's participation in such a large-scale event.
"This is an important step in promoting the industry of Mordovia to international markets, - explained Svetlana Antonova. - We have done a great job, the result was a wonderful exhibition stand, where the leading companies of the region were able to present their developments in the field of pharmaceuticals, woodworking, mechanical engineering and cable production. While in Uzbekistan, we studied the effective working methods of foreign partners and identified promising areas for cooperation."
BY THE WAY
On May 1, on Spring and Labor Day, Mordovia Development Corporation and the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan exchanged originals of the memorandum of cooperation. The document is aimed at promoting the organized recruitment and attraction of foreign labor for enterprises of Mordovia, as well as the creation of comfortable working conditions for citizens of Uzbekistan.
This agreement opens up new opportunities for business in the republic, strengthens international partnership and promotes mutually beneficial cooperation between the regions.
Participation in the exhibition and the signing of the memorandum demonstrate the active position of Mordovia in the development of industrial exports and international relations, which in the future will contribute to the economic growth of the region.
