Mordovia rose two places in the PPP ranking
By the end of 2024, the Republic of Mordovia improved its position in the ranking of Russian regions in terms of the development of public-private partnership (PPP), rising by two places. This success demonstrates that the republic is confidently moving forward, creating comfortable conditions for cooperation between business and the state.
According to Mordovia Development Corporation, the development of PPP mechanisms opens up new opportunities for the implementation of large infrastructure and social projects, which contributes to the economic growth of the region.
"The rise in the PPP rating is a natural result of our systematic work. The authorities actively support infrastructure and social projects, and businesses see the republic as a reliable partner. I am sure that Mordovia will continue to show positive dynamics in the future," said Tatiana Afonina, Deputy Head of the PPP and Administrative Work Department of the Corporation.
The rating was compiled by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia based on an approved methodology. The positions of the regions are determined by three criteria: the dynamics of the implementation of PPP projects in 2024, the experience of creating such projects, as well as the work of the authorities and their involvement in PPP projects.
