MORDOVIA SIGNED A COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH ROSKOSMOS
Mordovian enterprises will expand cooperation with Roskosmos. On March 1, an agreement on cooperation between the Republic of Mordovia and a state corporation was signed in Moscow. The document was signed by the Head of Mordovia Artem Zdunov and the Director General of the state corporation Yuri Borisov.
One of the key areas of cooperation is the development and production of special fibers for the goals and objectives of Roscosmos Group of Companies – this will be done by the Fiber Optics Engineering Center, created on the basis of the republican Technopark.
The agreement also provides for the expansion of cooperation with the Mordovian State University in the framework of the implementation of innovative projects. These are a project on porous silicon glass ceramics with a high operating temperature and a project on the synthesis and processing of single crystals of silicon carbide.
