Mordovian business receives state support for investment projects
Small and medium-sized businesses in Mordovia received financial assistance from the state in the amount of 250 million rubles in the first half of 2025. Over 40 entrepreneurs have been supported through the implementation of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy".
Businesses across the country have raised about 110 billion rubles for investment purposes thanks to the financial instruments of participants in the National Guarantee System. This is 10% more than in the same period of 2024.
"Investment projects for businesses are primarily about development and perspective. The financial instruments of the participants of the National Guarantee System allow entrepreneurs, even at a high key rate, to attract the necessary financing for investment purposes. The total amount of funds received by SMEs amounted to almost 440 billion rubles, of which every fourth ruble was taken specifically for investment projects. The largest demand is from newly established and growing companies. The amount of funds raised by companies aged one to three years has more than tripled and by 15% from three to five years," said Alexander Isaevich, CEO of SME Corporation.
He added that among the sectors of the supply economy, SMEs from such fields as science and technology, manufacturing, transportation and storage, agriculture, tourism, information and communications attracted the largest amount of financing under the program for investment purposes.
It should be recalled that the participants of the program, along with the SME Corporation, are regional guaranteeing organizations and state microfinance organizations. With the help of guarantees and sureties, entrepreneurs can raise borrowed funds to the required extent in the absence or insufficiency of their own collateral.
