MORE THAN TWO THOUSAND SMES IN MORDOVIA RECEIVED SUPPORT FROM THE “MY BUSINESS” CENTER IN 2023

The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia has summed up the results of the regional business support infrastructure for the year 2023. More than 550,000 people across the country benefited from financial, educational, consulting, and other support provided by the “My Business” Centers. These activities are implemented within the framework of the national project “Small and Medium Entrepreneurship”, initiated by the President of Russia. The national project is overseen by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Andrey Belousov.

In Mordovia, 2,257 entrepreneurs availed themselves of the support provided by the “My Business” Center in the past year, and this number continues to grow. There is also a significant increase in the number of people involved in the small and medium-sized entrepreneurship sector.

“In the small and medium-sized entrepreneurship sector, more than a hundred thousand people are already involved, and the number of self-employed individuals has almost tripled in two years,” Ivan Gorin says. “The number and volume of preferential loans are also growing, with a significant advantage being the interest rate, which is much lower than in commercial banks.”

There are also numerous non-financial, free support measures. Representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises at the “My Business” Center have the opportunity to register as individual entrepreneurs, become self-employed, create business plans, enter marketplaces, certify food products, prepare presentations, create video content, undergo training, and much more. The Center brings together all organizations involved in supporting entrepreneurs, providing them with the opportunity to access the necessary services in one place.
