PROJECTS FROM MORDOVIA BECAME LAUREATES OF THE NATIONAL TOURISM PRIZE
Two projects from Mordovia became laureates of the Russian Event Awards 2022. This year, 314 implemented ideas from 55 regions of the country reached the final of the competition. The final events of the award took place over three days in Nizhny Novgorod.
The Radisson Hotel & Congress Center Saransk 4* received the Grand Prix in the nomination «Best Accommodation for a Tourist Event». The hotel has repeatedly become a venue for business events and tourist events.
One of the latest is the semi-final of the All-Russian tourist competition «Masters of Hospitality», which was held in Saransk from November 15 to 18.
In the nomination «The best tourist event in the field of culture and art among cities with a population of up to 100,000 people», the Interregional festival of Mordovian hospitality «KURGONYA» received a diploma for the second place. The event has been held since 2015 and surprises everyone with its scope, national flavor and cuisine, the open soul of the Mordovian people and the size of the main symbol of the holiday – the Mordovian cheesecake kurgoni. For the festival, it is baked with a diameter of 1.5 meters.
