RM RAIL SIGNED A COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH RDC VAGONY AND SPSUR
The company RM Rail signed a memorandum of cooperation with the research and development center Vagony and the St. Petersburg State University of Railways. The signing took place today as part of the XV International Scientific and Technical Conference "Rolling Stock of the XXI century (ideas, requirements, projects)" in St. Petersburg. The agreement is aimed at expanding research and innovation infrastructure, as well as increasing human resources.
As reported by rmrail.ru the agreement provides for cooperation in the development of freight rolling stock of the latest generation. The interests of the parties are primarily related to the creation of a trolley speed of up to 140 km/h and a fleet of wagons with swap bodies.
Responsibility has been secured for testing and putting products into production. The second important direction, which is reflected in the memorandum, is the organization of professional training of personnel. In particular, students of SPSUR will be able to practice at RM Rail enterprises, participate in solving real production tasks and, in case of successful defense of their graduation projects, find a job.
