SELF-EMPLOYED INDIVIDUALS IN MORDOVIA ARE INCREASING THEIR TURNOVER OF GOODS WITH STATE-OWNED COMPANIES
In the past year, self-employed individuals in Mordovia provided goods and services to state-owned companies totaling more than 31 million rubles, almost twice the region's recorded figure in 2022. This became possible due to the support of the national project “Small and Medium Entrepreneurship”, initiated by the President and overseen by the First Deputy Prime Minister, Andrey Belousov.
The distribution of a special 25% quota for purchases from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) among the self-employed has simplified their participation in state-owned company procurements. Thanks to this, the number of self-employed individuals among the suppliers to major clients has been increasing for several years in a row. Simultaneously, the volume of purchases is also growing. Last year, it reached record levels, more than doubling compared to 2022.
Last year, the largest increase in the volume of purchases, compared to 2022, was observed in auxiliary services related to financial intermediation and insurance, where the growth is measured in hundreds of times.
