Small and medium-sized businesses in Mordovia have attracted almost 1.5 billion rubles through "umbrella" guarantees
The amount of financing through the "umbrella" guarantees of the SME Corporation in Mordovia amounted to 1.49 billion rubles last year, the number of recipients of support reached 167. According to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Mordovia, this became possible thanks to the implementation of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy".
In 2024, all across the country SMEs raised 470 billion rubles through "umbrella" guarantees, which is one and a half times more than a year earlier. Over 38,000 entrepreneurs received financial support.
In terms of the amount of financing attracted for SMEs through "umbrella" guarantees, manufacturing, infrastructure construction, transportation and storage, scientific and technical activities, information and communications, agriculture, hotels and catering are among the leading sectors of the economy.
The top industries in terms of the increase in the number of recipients of support in 2024 compared to 2023 included the service sector, culture and sports, hotels and catering, transportation and storage.
