Small business of Mordovia received more than 76 million rubles of preferential leasing support
Thanks to the implementation of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy", small businesses in Mordovia received 76.6 million rubles of preferential leasing support by the end of 2024. This is reported by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Mordovia.
The all-Russian indicator of SME leasing reached 4.6 billion rubles, exceeding the same indicator last year by 92%.
This type of government support is most popular among enterprises in the field of mechanical engineering and metalworking, chemical industry, food and light industry, as well as printing.
"Preferential leasing remains one of the most effective and sought-after financial instruments for small business development. With this tool, businesses solve the tasks of developing production capacities and increasing output, including the field of import substitution. In 2024, the regional coverage of preferential leasing expanded and companies from 65 regions of the Russian Federation signed contracts to attract leasing financing, compared with 52 a year earlier," said Alexander Isaevich, CEO of SME Corporation. "This year we will continue to develop preferential leasing, and in February we will launch an application campaign."
The preferential leasing program provides small businesses with access to modernize and increase production capacity through the purchase of modern equipment at reduced rates. In 2024, under the program, businesses received preferential leasing financing at rates starting from 6% for Russian and 8% per annum for foreign equipment.
