SPIEF-2024: A REPRESENTATIVE OFFICE OF THE ROSKACHESTVO COMPETENCE CENTER FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF ORGANIC AND “GREEN” PRODUCTS WILL BE ESTABLISHED IN MORDOVIA
On June 6, during the Mordovia delegation's meeting with the leadership of Roskachestvo at the SPIEF-2024, discussions were held regarding the development of organic agriculture in Mordovia. According to the press service of the Head of the Republic of Mordovia, this work will be carried out within the representative office of the Roskachestvo Competence Center for the Development of Organic and “Green” Products. A fundamental agreement on its creation was reached between the Head of the Republic, Artem Zdunov, and the head of Roskachestvo, Maxim Protasov.
The center will aggregate a comprehensive range of information in the field of organic agriculture. Its establishment will enable a significant leap forward in the promotion of organic agriculture in the region. Additionally, it will contribute to the development of organic farming and agrotourism, enhance public awareness of organic agriculture, promote healthy eating habits and lifestyles, and ensure the availability of environmentally friendly products to the population.
Following the meeting, an agreement was signed between Mordovia and Roskachestvo to establish a representation office of the Center of Competence for the Development of Organic and “Green” Products of Roskachestvo in the Republic. In the presence of the Head of the region and the leader of Roskachestvo, the document was signed by the Minister of Agriculture and Food of Mordovia, Anton Ilyushkin, and the Deputy Director of Roskachestvo, Yulia Mikhaleva.
