SPIEF-2024: MORDOVIA IS EXPANDING COOPERATION WITH A FEDERAL INVESTOR IN THE TIMBER PROCESSING INDUSTRY
On June 6, during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Head of Mordovia, Artem Zdunov, met with the CEO of the federal group of companies, Vadim Medvedev. According to the press service of the Head of the Republic of Mordovia, they discussed the implementation of joint investment projects.
The discussion revolved around the development of the Republic's timber processing assets. Within the framework of new investment projects, with a total volume exceeding 5 billion rubles, priority will be given to creating new jobs and developing human capital, as well as implementing and advancing cutting-edge practices in labor productivity enhancement.
In addition, it was noted that cooperation in these areas would contribute to increasing the tax base of the region and enhancing the social impact of the enterprise's operations. The parties also agreed to hold the next meeting on the territory of the Republic of Mordovia.
