SPIEF: Mordovia and Rosagroleasing Expand Cooperation
On June 3, at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Head of Mordovia, Artem Zdunov, held a meeting with Pavel Kosov, General Director of JSC Rosagroleasing. The discussion focused on developing cooperation.
For Mordovia, agriculture is one of the key economic sectors. The republic has significant production, human resources and investment potential, makes a substantial contribution to ensuring the country’s food security, and is consistently expanding its export activities.
Rosagroleasing is an important tool for state support of agricultural producers, providing farmers with modern equipment on favourable leasing terms.
From 2021 to 2025, about 450 units of various agricultural machinery and equipment were supplied to the republic’s farmers through JSC Rosagroleasing, with a total value exceeding 3 billion rubles.
“For us, it’s not only about supplying modern agricultural machinery — we also value new formats of cooperation, including participation in investment and infrastructure projects, as well as applying leasing mechanisms in the sphere of municipal, road construction and other specialised equipment,” noted the Head of Mordovia.
Given the steady demand from the republic’s farmers for agricultural machinery and equipment, Artem Zdunov proposed considering the possibility of opening a branch of JSC Rosagroleasing in Mordovia.
