State-owned companies have signed contracts with the self-employed of Mordovia in the amount of over 28 million rubles
Last year, 30 self-employed people in Mordovia signed contracts with state-owned companies for 28.3 million rubles. Thanks to the support of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy", the figure has already reached a record 12 billion rubles in the country.
The volume of purchases increased by 64% compared to 2023, the number of contracts exceeded 15,000 for the first time, which is almost 20% more than in the previous period. And the number of self-employed citizens who became suppliers to the largest customers has updated last year's record by more than 18% and amounted to over 9 thousand. The SME Corporation and the authorized bodies of the regions are responsible for compliance with the mandatory government quota of 25% for purchases from small and medium-sized businesses.
"Due to the extension of a special quota for purchases from SMEs to the self-employed, the trend towards an increase in the number of such suppliers from state-owned companies continues. Moreover, we see not only an increase in the volume of purchases in monetary terms, which may partly be due to the economic situation. It is important that the number of contracts and the number of suppliers among the self-employed is growing. In total, from 2019 to 2024, the self-employed signed more than 38 thousand contracts with state-owned companies with an average contract price of more than 630 thousand rubles. At the same time, the range of products supplied and the range of services provided to the self-employed are expanding - almost 40,000 different positions last year," said Alexander Isaevich, CEO of SME Corporation.
The largest increase in the volume of purchases from the self-employed occurred in the field of financial intermediation and insurance services, legal and accounting services, professional, scientific and technical services, as well as in the field of specialized construction work.
Starting from April 1, 2020, the self-employed can participate in procurement under 223-FZ on the same terms as small and medium-sized businesses.
