TECHNOPARK-MORDOVIA WILL BE SELF-SUSTAINING
Technopark-Mordovia is to be brought to self-sufficiency. By the end of this year, it will become the only center in the Russian Federation where a full cycle of production of special optical fiber will start operating.
It was proposed to expand the area of activity of the Technopark to increase efficiency. There is a legislative basis for this.
In addition, the main innovation center of the Republic should establish close cooperation with the Mordovia State University.
One of the main results of the Technopark's activity is the creation of a complete production chain for the production of special optical fibers and based on them devices.
We recall that, the country's first plant for the industrial production of optical fiber was launched in Saransk in the fall of 2015.Today the enterprise uses blanks for fiber extraction, which are imported from abroad.The region is completing work on creating its own complex for their production. In addition, there are plans to develop new types of fibers.
