THE CABINET OF MINISTERS OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION INSTRUCTED TO REDUCE THE TIME OF CONNECTING TO POWER GRIDS FOR BUSINESSES
The Russian government instructed to reduce the time of technical connection to power grids for small and medium-sized businesses to 85 days in all regions of the Russian Federation. It is reported by government.ru.
In addition, the country will gradually introduce the principle of «one window» on connection issues and fees for technical connection to networks. Regional authorities will have to monitor compliance with deadlines. It is noted that this applies to all applicants - from citizens to businesses.
This measure has become possible thanks to the digital interaction of electricity consumers, energy companies and authorities. It is planned to reduce the time for approval of documents required for the construction of electrical networks.
