THE COMPETITION OF REGIONAL BRANDS OF FOOD PRODUCTS “TASTE OF RUSSIA” STARTED
The Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Dmitry Patrushev announced the holding of the second National Competition of Regional Food Brands "Tastes of Russia". The competition is aimed at popularizing the unique products of Russian regions and supporting small agribusiness. The competition also contributes to the development of agritourism and rural areas in general.
Applications for the second National Competition of Regional Food Brands "Tastes of Russia" can be submitted until September 1. Applications are accepted on the site russiantastes.ru
There are eight nominations in the competition program. The winners will be determined by a competition committee consisting of representatives of the restaurant business, retail, development institutions and government authorities. The preliminary announcement of the finalists is scheduled for November 11, 2021.
Recall that in 2020, the Republic of Mordovia was represented at the competition by such products as cheesecake "Kurgonya", quail eggs and quail meat, as well as kvass.
