THE DELEGATION OF MORDOVIA HELD NEGOTIATIONS WITH CHINESE PARTNERS
The delegation of Mordovia, led by Artem Zdunov, continues its work on the business mission in China. Today, in Shanghai, representatives of Mordovia held negotiations with their Chinese counterparts.
As part of the event, the Minister of Economy, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Mordovia, Ivan Gorin, presented a detailed report on the republic's investment potential. He highlighted that Mordovia is the only region in the Eurasian Economic Union that produces optical fiber on a serial basis. Additionally, it was noted that the republic is a leader in Russia in the markets for freight engineering, wagon production, various types of cables, and pharmaceuticals.
During the negotiations, agreements were signed between ALS-Povolzh'e and the
Saransk Instrument Works PJSC with Chinese instrument-making companies.
Additionally, a memorandum of intent was signed, under which a major Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer will become a resident of the special economic zone in Mordovia.
