THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE LIGHTING INDUSTRY IN MORDOVIA WAS DISCUSSED AT THE HOUSE OF THE REPUBLIC

On October 22, the Head of Mordovia, Artem Zdunov, met with the founder of the Ardatov Lighting Plant and the Lighting Fixtures Plant, Vladimir Kudashkin. According to the press service of the Head of the Republic, they discussed the development of the lighting industry in the region and the implementation of projects within the framework of the special economic zone.

Both enterprises are steadily increasing their production indicators. Over the past nine months, the Ardatov Lighting Plant has produced goods worth 2.2 billion rubles, marking a 108% increase compared to the same period last year.

The enterprise currently employs 700 people. The average salary of employees has increased by 10.8% and has exceeded 84,000 rubles. As for the Lighting Fixtures Plant, which employs 156 people, it is also increasing its production volumes (128.5% compared to last year) and average salary (approximately 68,000 rubles, representing a 124% increase).

The issue of staffing remains problematic, particularly concerning skilled trades and engineering personnel. Designers have to be recruited remotely from other regions.

At the same time, further development and implementation of a number of investment projects are planned. In particular, the Lighting Fixtures Plant is one of the residents of the special economic zone. The enterprise intends to produce lamp posts and expand its production of LED utility lighting fixtures.
