THE FIRST ROAD TRAIN FROM MORDOVIA WENT TO KAZAKHSTAN
In early August Mordovagromash assembled the first road train for carrying grain on the chassis of 36 tones KAMAZ vehicle. It was aimed for Kazakhstan. This is a completely new product for the enterprise, that has begun to master the automotive manufacture. Until recently, Mordovagromash mostly produced towed equipment. So, the share of the company in tractor trailers production for the Russian market varies from 37 to 45%.
Chairman of the State Assembly of the Republic of Mordovia Vladimir Chibirkin visited Mordovagromash the day before the significant event.
The head of Mordovagromash Gennady Gromov said that the development of the company's new product required a lot of preparatory work. Now the plant has a certificate of quality for it. During the preparation, all the wishes and comments of business partners were taken into account. KAMAZ, MAN and SCANIA are among the partner companies, supplying truck chassis. Negotiations with Volvo are coming to an end. The company also intends to equip its trucks in Saransk with equipment, which is fully produced by Mordovagromash with best technologies and the latest machines.
Vladimir Chibirkin: "This is a very important event not only for Mordovagromash, but also for the whole republic and even for the country. It is prestigious for any company to export its goods, but it is twice more pleasant that the product is equally interesting for the republic." Some agricultural companies of Mordovia have already expressed their attitude to the new product. They think that it will be very popular. One of Mordovia companies specialized at road construction has already purchased three road trains.
Gennady Gromov said that the company have already received enough orders for road trains to fill up the production till the end of the current year. It confirms that new product has already found big demand.
