THE GOVERNMENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION ALLOCATED OVER 84 MILLION RUBLES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF TOURISM IN MORDOVIA
Over 84 million rubles were allocated by the Government of the Russian Federation to support and develop the tourism industry in Mordovia. This order was signed by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin.
As the Deputy Minister of Economy, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Mordovia Marina Zhulina noted, this is a very important support for the development of the tourism industry in Mordovia. «This year, it is planned to implement at least 5 projects to develop the «Call of Torama» tourist route and create at least 5 equipped beaches. Thus, tourists, as well as residents of the Republic, will receive additional places for a comfortable stay».
To date, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Mordovia is working on the approval of the regional procedure for grants for the implementation of these public initiatives. The collection of applications is scheduled to be announced in March this year.
Based on the results of the selection, the competition commission will determine the winners, with whom grant agreements will be concluded. Projects with grant support will be implemented in 2023.
