THE GOVERNMENT SUPPORTED THE IDEA TO ALLOW FOREIGN INVESTORS ENTRY INTO THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION
The Russian government supported the initiative of the Ministry of Economy to provide foreign investors entry into the Russian Federation during the period of restrictions imposed by the COVID-19. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Economic Development.
The ministry will coordinate the formation and submission to the regulatory authorities of the lists for the entry of foreign investors into the Russian Federation.
The lists will be formed on the basis of requests from regions interested in attracting foreign investors. Corresponding amendments have been made to Order No. 635 of the Government of the Russian Federation.
The possibility of foreign investors entering Russia will be an
important step towards the restoration of business activity.
