The Head of Mordovia held a meeting with Moscow and regional business communities

On August 7, a meeting took place in Saransk between the Head of the Republic of Mordovia, Artem Zdunov, and representatives of business associations from Moscow, the Moscow Region, and the local business community. The event served as a platform to discuss the development of entrepreneurship and the formation of a long‑term strategy for supporting businesses.

Opening the meeting, Artem Zdunov emphasised the importance of a systematic approach to solving current challenges: “We traditionally hold these meetings. The current situation is unusual, and it is important to break out of it and move forward.” The region’s leader noted the authorities’ readiness to address even the most complex issues and to maintain constant communication with the business community through authorised representatives.

Artem Zdunov pointed out that the regional authorities are actively working to inform businesses about available sites, strategic plans, and the specifics of how large enterprises operate in Mordovia.

Particular attention was paid to the interaction with the entrepreneurial community.

Artem Zdunov stressed: “We need to tackle challenges not in an ad‑hoc manner, but through systemic solutions.” An agreement has been reached to strengthen support for entrepreneurs working with marketplaces, and the signing of an important agreement with a digital trading platform is planned. Special focus was given to the development of the “Sistema” special economic zone as a driver of the region’s industrial growth. Mechanisms for interregional cooperation between the Moscow and Mordovia business communities have been strengthened.

The Head of the republic highlighted the need to consolidate the efforts of all public organisations: “Get involved. I am in favour of supporting business. We are all connected.”
