THE MINISTRY OF ECONOMY OF MORDOVIA HAS PRESENTED MEASURES TO SUPPORT THE FORESTRY COMPLEX
A working meeting on the topic “Development of organizations in the forestry complex of the Republic of Mordovia” was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Mordovia. The event was attended by representatives of government bodies, the Deputy Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurial Rights in the Republic of Mordovia, and forest plot lessees.
It should be noted that in the forestry and logging sector of Mordovia, there are currently around 30 organizations employing 559 people, almost a third of whom work in small and medium-sized businesses.
The participants of the roundtable were informed about seventeen preferential loan programs that are currently available for small and medium-sized business representatives.
We should also not forget about the numerous non-financial measures to support businesses: producing advertising materials, providing assistance in promoting products on marketplaces, organizing conferences, forums, roundtable discussions, workshops, and product exhibitions.
The participants of the roundtable also discussed the work of organizations in the forestry complex, issues related to the use of the forest fund of the republic, as well as opportunities for utilizing timber products. They addressed current issues of improving collaboration and enhancing the quality of work with forest plot lessees.
