The Ministry of Economy of Mordovia held a meeting of the competition commission for the selection of tourism projects
The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Mordovia, as part of the implementation of the national project “Tourism and Hospitality”, held a meeting of the competition commission to select projects in the tourism sector.
A total of 12.1 million rubles has been allocated for support from the federal and republican budgets. Seven applications were submitted for the competition, covering three areas: developing new routes, purchasing tourism equipment, and creating campsites. Five projects have been admitted to the in‑person defence stage.
Among them are the tourism routes “Sursky Frontier. Following the Trails of the Heroic Past” in the Bolshiebereznikovsky District and “Ruzaevka — Territory of Life”; the development of the campsite at the Karnay recreation centre in the Kochkurovsky District; the purchase of catering equipment for serving tourist groups; and the creation of a water wake park in Saransk.
Oksana Larina, Deputy Minister of Economy, Trade and Entrepreneurship of Mordovia, noted: “We support projects that make tourism more accessible and interesting for residents and guests of the republic. It is important that entrepreneurs propose concrete solutions for infrastructure development, and we hope for the support of the municipalities.”
The winners will be determined based on a points‑based assessment. The results will be published on the portal for providing financial state support measures.
