The number of Mordovian enterprises entering the Kyrgyz market is growing

On May 15, on the sidelines of the International Economic Forum Russia — Islamic World: KazanForum, Artem Zdunov, Head of Mordovia, met with Daniyar Amangeldiyev, First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic.

“I’m glad to welcome you at our stand,” said the Head of Mordovia. “It is a great honour for us to host a high‑ranking representative of the Kyrgyz Republic — our reliable partner and good neighbour. Relations between Mordovia and Kyrgyzstan have deep historical roots and a steady positive dynamic. Over the past three years, our trade turnover has grown significantly. Mutual interest remains high, and the structure of supplies is becoming increasingly diversified. The number of Mordovian enterprises entering the Kyrgyz market is also growing. Your consumers are well acquainted with our pharmaceutical products, electrical equipment, timber, aluminium goods, grain processing products, confectionery, and meat products. We see great potential in exporting medicines, solar modules, fibre‑cement products, as well as in developing industrial and agricultural cooperation and implementing joint initiatives.”

“Russia and Kyrgyzstan are long‑standing and reliable economic partners. The integration is very deep — it’s no coincidence that our leaders meet so frequently. Investments are growing thanks to the joint Russian‑Kyrgyz Development Fund. Pharmaceuticals are a very important topic for us: we have various measures of state support and subsidies in this sector. I suggest you come with your team and visit our production facilities — we’ll look at and think about how to combine our efforts,” noted Daniyar Amangeldiyev.

The meeting was attended by representatives of key sectors — industry and agriculture. They presented specific projects and proposals.
