THE PRODUCTION OF MODERN BACTERICIDAL RECIRCULATORS HAS BEEN LAUNCHED IN MORDOVIA

The production of modern bactericidal recirculators (devices for effective disinfection and air purification) has been launched in Saransk. Mordovian scientists’ development is intended for the prevention and control of infectious diseases, viruses, microbes, bacteria and can be used both on the enterprises and at home. Under the threat of coronavirus, the novelty generated increased interest among buyers.

The industrial production of bactericidal recirculators has been organised by Lodygin Scientific Research Institute of Light Sources (LSRILS) on Mordovian technopark territory. 100 devices are manufactured here daily and about 2500 units - monthly.

The novelty was created by a small innovative enterprise called Radioelectronic Engineering of MRSU Research Center, that is located in Mordovian State University. A couple of days ago the development was presented to the head of the Republic of Mordovia, Vladimir Volkov.

“They are made of special glass, which, unlike the usual one has better ultraviolet transmission capacities. The air is pumped out of the lamps and they are filled with inert gas.” explained Alexei Vinokurov, Director General of the Scientific Research Institute of Light Sources.

The head of the Republic of Mordovia was shown the capabilities of the device, which is intended for the effective disinfection and cleaning of air, surfaces of residential and non-residential premises, and is also used as a means for the prevention and control of infectious diseases, viruses, microbes, and bacteria. Vladimir Volkov praised the development of Mordovian scientists and lighting engineers.
