THE PRODUCTION OF RADIO-ABSORBING MATERIALS FOR PROTECTION AGAINST ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATIONS WILL BE ESTABLISHED IN MORDOVIA
A joint project of the Mordovian University and LLC «Plant of Sealing Materials» from Dzerzhinsk became the winner of the competition for the right to receive subsidies from the federal budget.
Within the framework of the project, it is planned to organize the production of self-adhesive radio-absorbing materials for protection against electromagnetic radiation of ultra-high and short-wave frequencies, which in their characteristics significantly exceed foreign analogues and are up to five times cheaper.
Sheets, rolls, tapes, security cords can be used to protect people and equipment.
The project is one of the activities of the University's Development Program «Priority 2030» and the Activity Program of the Scientific and Educational Center «Engineering of the Future». Its developers were scientists from the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering, headed by the head of the Department of Applied Mechanics Vasily Cherkasov.
The Ministry of Education and Science of Russia will allocate 120 million rubles to the university during 2022-2024, LLC «Plant of Sealing Materials» will send funding to the university in the amount of 123 million rubles for the creation of production within the the same period, the press service of the university reports.
